We've been on break for 6 months, but we are starting up our next study really soon! Excited is an understatement! Beginning in January, we will be doing a deep dive study on the book of Genesis. Going back to the beginning to help build a foundation for the gospel and the rest of scripture. NERDS LOOKOUT! This will be a collegiate level study, from every day lay people who have never been to Bible college. Just a couple of ladies who love the Lord and have a burning passion and desire to know more of His Word and teach it to others! During this study, we will use proper Biblical exegesis to teach, using verse mapping, and more tools we learned in a former study (how to study the Bible). No need to worry that you can't follow along or keep up, you only need bring a hunger and desire to learn and dig deeper into the Word of God!
Brittany will be heading up this study and Blake will be there for hosting and backup support. We have been praying and readying for this for over a year and I know this is the right time. We will study the first half of Genesis in about 8 weeks and there will be homework every week, so we ask for your participation. Life is busy, we get it, but God promises us of we make time for Him and His Word, it will not return void to us. So, what are you waiting on? Get some formal-ish training in and informal setting! Deep dive and study the Word with us! Learn to press harder into what God has for your life, just by learning to read and understand His Words!
Beginning Sunday, December 7 (8 weeks, plus a couple of Sundays off for holidays/possible weather) and to run till February 8. There will be a cockpot meal, water and coffee available every week. We encourage everyone to bring an item to share. We will begin serving food at 5:30 and Bible study will begin promptly at 6, going until 7:30. Study is open for men, women, and teens.
