Each educational session lasts approximately 30 minutes and is designed to teach pre-literacy skills while promoting the love of books and reading. Our summer programs will highlight the arts with the theme of “Color Our World: Arts of Lewis County.” Story time programs are designed for children ages 5 and under, but older children are welcome to attend. Registration for summer reading is not required for program attendance, but is a way to enhance summer fun! Time spent in story time programs DOES count as reading time for participants in the READSquared portion of summer reading. Register for READSquared at lewislibrary.readsquared.com
