Join us for the launch of a fascinating new book by historian Tony L. Turnbow that reexamines one of the most enduring mysteries in American history.

In Jefferson’s Spy: The Secret Life of Meriwether Lewis, explores Lewis’s relationship with his mentor, Thomas Jefferson, and the secret work he performed on Jefferson’s behalf until his death on the Natchez Trace in Tennessee.

Tony Turnbow will discuss his research, the writing of the book, and the historical evidence surrounding Lewis’s final mission. Copies of the book will be available for purchase, and a book signing will follow the program.

Members of the Lewis and Clark Trail Alliance will have the option to watch the presentation live via Zoom.
