Hinter PINK STILETTO steckt im Wesentlichen die in San Francisco lebende Synthpop-Künstlerin Valery Kvochkova. Schon im Jahr 2023 hatte sich Kvochkova von ihrer alten Band Deux Nomiz abgenabelt und veröffentlichte ein Jahr darauf ihre erste Solo-EP „New Wava“. Trugen Deux Nomiz eher die Einflüsse von Bands wie The B-52s, Devo oder Plastics offen zur Schau, ging es auf „New Wava“ etwas dreckiger und synth-punkiger zu. 
Vor wenigen Wochen erschien nun "Bonanza" - der erste physische Release von PINK STILETTO! Inklusive einiger älterer Songs in neuem Gewand: so z.B. "Ice Eyes" ...vor 2 Jahren noch eine Lo-Fi-Punk-Funk-Nummer, ist der Song 2026 ein von satten Italo-Disco-Synths angetriebener, dunkler Dancefloorkiller! 
Überhaupt nehmen die Synths eine sehr viel prominentere Position ein, womit sich PINK STILETTO immer mehr vom klanglichen Dunstkreis eines schal gewordenen Post-Punk-Revivals entfernt. Noch immer düster und Goth, orientiert sich PINK STILETTO mittlerweile an weitaus spannenderen  Vorbildern wie z.B. EBM oder osteuropäischer Disco-Musik.

Und auch wenn es ein Dienstag ist: kommt rum, habt Spaß und tanzt euch die Seele aus dem Leib!
