The 2019 Small Press Zine Fair

The 2019 Small Press Zine Fair

The 2019 Small Press Zine Fair
State Library of Tasmania, 91 Murray Street, Hobart
Saturday November 16th
10am to 1:30pm, Free Entry

We pay our respects to the traditional and original owners of this land the muwinina people, we pay respects to those that have passed before us and to acknowledge today’s Tasmanian Aboriginal community who are the custodians of this land.

>> Zines, zines, are good for the heart
>> The more you read, the bigger your smarts
>> The more you make, the more we dance
>> So let’s swap zines at every chance!

DIY publishers, homemade magazines, photocopied poetry, homespun stories, photos stapled together, drawing booklets, comics, ZINES CAN BE ANYTHING! This year’s Zine Fair (our 7th) will be held in the State Library because zines are literature (obviously!) Bring your kids, bring your grand-uncle, bring all your loved ones. This festival grows in size every year and we are guaranteed to have stuff from a passionate bunch of local and interstate zinesters.

This year’s poster features the wonderful art of Icky Ickleston
Please share the poster far and wide
Anyone willing to assist with putting the posters around town, please get in contact via DM.
