Layers of Grace
A solo exhibition of Abstract Art by Brenda Tsiaousis
In Layers of Grace, Brenda invites us into the sacred space where creativity and faith meet, where the process of making art becomes an act of surrender, a quiet conversation with God, and a journey
of transformation.
Brenda’s abstract works are layered with emotion, symbolism, and intuition. Each piece is unplanned yet purposeful, created in response to a deep inner prompting. Through colour, movement, and hidden meaning, she expresses what words often cannot: the slow becoming, the tension between chaos and harmony, the beauty of healing in process.
Her hope is that viewers will not just see the art, but experience it, feel something stir, receive what they need, and remember that they too are being shaped, known, and held.
Brenda is a South African, Australian artist whose work is a vibrant exploration of transformation, emotion, and faith. Her art invites viewers to reflect, connect, and find meaning in the layers, both
seen and felt.
Creativity has always been a quiet companion in Brenda’s life. As a child, she found joy in doodling, drawing, and playful expression, but it wasn’t until much later, after years of professional work in
business coaching, consulting, and leadership, that she returned to the canvas with intention. That return felt less like a decision and more like a homecoming. Reigniting her creative spark led her to complete the Milan Art Institute’s Mastery Program, a deeply
transformative experience that helped her let go of control, trust the process, and create from a place of authenticity. This training sharpened her skills and expanded her vision, leading to a body of
work rich in colour, layers, and meaning.
Brenda’s work is inspired by nature, symbolism, and the unseen threads that connect us, clocks, birds, bees, and fragments of time often emerge in her pieces. Her personal faith is central to her
creative process, it grounds her, guides her, and often weaves its way into the meaning behind her work. She sees painting as an act of faith itself: a quiet surrender and a bold declaration of beauty
rising from the unseen.
Whether capturing the essence of a soul through a portrait or creating layered abstracts that speak to life’s hidden beauty, Brenda paints to stir the spirit. Her collectors are drawn to art that tells a
story, of growth, struggle, and breakthrough, and to work that beautifies spaces while also speaking to the heart.
Brenda continues to explore how art, faith, and personal transformation intertwine, using her work not just as decoration, but as an invitation, to slow down, reflect, and see the beauty that can rise from the ashes.
Layers of Grace will run from 23rd July - 28th September. Please join us for the Exhibition Opening, Thursday 7th August. All works are available for purchase and possession immediately.
