End of Year Poetica Party

A night of spoken word, music, connection, and surprises.

Poetica Collective returns to the iconic Alabama Hotel for another unforgettable night of creativity, community, and the kind of magic that only happens when good people gather in a room with art, music, and stories.

This edition brings together an incredible mix of talent - from emerging musos and local poets to seasoned performers and a few special guests travelling down from Sydney (TBA soon 👀). Expect heartfelt words, soulful sounds, and a few unexpected moments woven throughout the night.

As always, the Alabama will be serving their famous toasties and a range of local bevvies to keep you fuelled while you soak in the atmosphere.

And to close the evening… a secret set you won’t want to miss.

To honour the growing number of paid artists joining us for this event, tickets have been set at $20. This small increase helps us continue supporting local talent, visiting performers, and the creative community that Poetica is built on. This won’t be a permanent ticket price - just a way to uplift more artists for this special edition.

Accessibility: Please note that the Alabama Hotel is accessed via stairs and does not have a lift. If you have accessibility needs, feel free to reach out so we can support you where possible.

Door Sales: There will be very limited door tickets available. Buying online is strongly recommended to secure your spot.
