Deepen your practice (WORKSHOP)
Deepen your practice ~ is a workshop style class, full of knowledge and deeper learning of asana postures, pranayama and most importantly - your own body!
These classes are always loads of fun, you don't have to have an experienced practice to join, simply a desire to explore.
Each class begins with a flow style class, we then focus on certain postures, correct alignment, give tools for moving in a supported active way for sustainability and longevity in your asana practice.
Each month the theme will change. You can join in any month, however they are designed to build on each other, which can be helpful in future workshops!
10th August: Vinyasa Re-vamp! how many of these do we do a week??? or if you're just beginning out, this is the best to build foundation and an understanding of your body within the practice. If you've been practicing for ever, these workshops will refine and strengthen your current practice, playing with jump throughts and add on's in the humble vinyasa.
21st September: Open hearted ~ breathing sweetly as you extend and open during your backbends. If backbends are painful for you, we will explore and support to change this being the case! If you just love backbends and want to get super juicy and deep, we got you covered!!!
5th October: Lets get Hippie ~ making the splits, pigeon and all those yummy juicy postures feel amazing… using active movement to support you as you dive deep into the largest joint in the body!
2nd November: Get yo self upside down!!! ~ learn the foundation for support or add on with variations - partner work will make playing with this feel fun and safe at the same time!
7th December: Shoulder love ~ release and re-wire. These postures will be handy for everyday comfort while exploring into postures which can incorporate all fo the above.
