We're after people who are passionate about change, willing to develop skills, and want to be part of leading an effective movement for climate action.
The program is delivered by expert campaigners and will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to:
-Talk about the links between climate change and health to colleagues, friends and family members;
-Participate in coordinated actions to shape government policy on climate and health;
-Engage the media and tell your story effectively;
-Influence your own local politicians and institutions to take meaningful action;
-Link with a network of health professionals in your area and nation wide working on raising the awareness of the impacts of climate change on health.
Climate change is both the greatest health threat and the greatest health opportunity of the 21st century. As a health professional you have a voice of credibility and influence and can positively influence change on this important issue.
The Climate and Health Alliance is a small Non-Government Organisation. Ticket sales will cover the cost of this workshop. The event will be catered.
