Contra Dance

The Fort Wayne Traditional Music and Dance Society is hosting a Contra Dance at the Hayloft on Friday February 27, 2026. Contra is similar to square dancing, but instead of squares it is danced in two parallel lines. A caller (Barry Dupen) will be leading the dances along with music from the Spy Run String Band. A lesson is included in the cover charge beginning at 7:00 p.m. There is a $15 per person cover charge paid at the door. Cash bar and concessions available. No carry in beverages or alcohol. Doors open at 7:00 with lesson to begin shortly after. All ages are welcome! No partner required… No experience needed! We are honored to host a dance with this great group and look forward to a spectacular evening of fellowship and dancing!
