Vietnam’s tropical climate is the perfect environment for some of the most health-enhancing foods on the planet. However, many of us living here haven’t fully taken advantage of local produce and educated ourselves on their healing properties. In ‘Superfoods of Vietnam’ you will learn about several nutrient dense fruits, vegetables, herbs, and more. You’ll learn their nutritional value, how to incorporate them into your daily routine, their names in Vietnamese and English, and where to find them.
Each class is sure to have a food that you’ve never seen or tried before! You’ll be able to test delicious foods like lychee, Jamaica berry, gac fruit, soursop leaves, cacao, mangosteen, and more! You can expect to learn new recipes, try each food, and learn more about nutrition myths and theories.
June and July will each have superfood classes, where we will learn about seasonal tropical foods.
