Welcome to the holy grail of barbecue cooking: the art of smoking meats low ‘n’ slow.

If you’ve ever dreamed of lifting the lid on a smoker to reveal a mahogany-barked brisket or ribs so tender they practically fall from the bone, this class is for you.

This is a hands-on BBQ Academy class where you won’t just be watching, you’ll be cooking. Each guest will get involved with the prep, the pit and the plate, learning the craft first-hand under the guidance of our expert instructor.

Together, we’ll tend the smokers, manage the fire, rub the meat, check temperatures and explore what it really takes to cook low ‘n’ slow with confidence.

Over four immersive hours, we’ll explore a range of smoking styles, including:

🔥 Low ‘n’ slow classics that take time, patience and proper fire management
🔥 Hot and fast techniques for when you want great results in less time
🔥 Cold smoking for salmon, cheese, nuts and other flavour experiments

You’ll come away with practical skills, a better understanding of fire and temperature control, and plenty of inspiration for your next cook.

🎟️ This is a ticketed class and all attendees must have a valid ticket booked before arriving. Please use the ticket link to secure your place.

Age restriction: Classes are restricted to ages 16+.

Cancellation policy: Please contact us at least 10 working days before your class to be eligible for a full refund. You can transfer your seat to a different class up to 5 days before your class date. As this is a live ticketed event, we cannot make any exceptions.
