This hands-on class is designed to build confidence, consistency and proper Kamado know-how, helping you get the best out of your grill every time you fire it up. In this four-hour session, you’ll learn how to master airflow, temperature control and fuel management, so you can cook everything from a perfectly reverse-seared steak to a Sunday rotisserie chicken with ease. You’ll cook across a range of Kamado grills, including Kamado Joe Classic and Konnected, Kama Gear and the new BSTRD kamados. No matter what brand you own, or are thinking of buying, the techniques are fully transferable to Big Green Egg, Primo, Pit Boss and other Kamado-style grills. Under the guidance of our expert instructor, you’ll learn how to: 🔥 Build and maintain the perfect fire 🔥 Master airflow and temperature control 🔥 Know when to cook direct vs indirect 🔥 Use heat deflectors effectively 🔥 Explore smoking techniques and clean smoke flavour 🔥 Experiment with the Joetisserie and different cooking surfaces 🔥 Apply rubs, sauces and seasonings for maximum flavour 🔥 Safely shut down your Kamado properly And of course, you’ll be cooking and eating a feast of dishes to put your new skills into practice.
