Manchester's Chameleons are widely regarded as one of the most influential bands to come out of post punk, discovered by John Peel and responsible for three albums, Script of the Bridge, What Does Anything Mean Basically and Strange Times, that quietly shaped the sound of guitar music through the 80s and 90s.

Off the back of Arctic Moon, the band's widely praised 2025 album, and three years of touring the world with The Chameleons, frontman, bassist and principal songwriter Vox (Mark Burgess) is stepping away from the full band setup for something different. This acoustic show draws on a forty year career, taking in songs from The Chameleons alongside material from his other projects, The Sun And The Moon, The Sons of God and Invincible. He's joined for the night by fellow Chameleons guitarist Stephen Rice.

Stripped back, it's a chance to hear these songs the way they were often written, and to hear the stories behind them from someone who's been writing them for four decades.
