I’m Claire, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking on another Slimming World group! My journey started many years ago when I lost 5½ stone, going from a size 22 to a size 8 by simply following Food Optimising. Slimming World didn’t just change my body – it changed my entire life.

Before joining, I struggled with panic attacks, low self-esteem and avoided anything social because my anxiety would take over. But discovering Slimming World gave me confidence, enjoyment, and a whole new sense of self-belief. For over 20 years, I’ve proudly maintained a size 8/10, and that’s why I live and breathe this plan. It’s not a diet… it’s a lifestyle.

Becoming a Consultant felt like the most natural next step. I wanted to help others feel the same joy, freedom and pride that Slimming World gave me. I opened my first group at St John’s Church on Monday mornings back in July, and since then it has gone from strength to strength – even winning Group of the Month for August, September, October and now November as well. 

Now, I’m beyond excited to open a brand new Saturday group, ready to welcome new members, supporting you every step of the way, and help you reach – and stay – at your dream target weight.
