Although the group was formed 30 years ago, IIIrd Tyme Out has carved their name into bluegrass history, earning seven IBMA Vocal Group of the Year awards, and frontman Russell Moore is the most-awarded Male Vocalist in IBMA history. With Moore’s unmistakable voice leading the charge, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out has become one of the most notable groups in bluegrass today. With 18 albums and plenty of miles under his belt, Moore is excited to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary. “Even with all these years into it we’re just as ready to hit the road and play the music as we were our first day on the road in 1991,” he said.

Backdraft Barbecue food truck will be on site for this show.

Tickets are available online on our website and at the door. Cash preferred but cards accepted. Online ticket sales stop on the day of the show, but that does not mean they are sold out. All tickets are general admission. Prices vary by show. Unless otherwise stated, shows start at 7:30 and doors open at 6. The Carter Family Fold is located at 3449 A P Carter Hwy, Hiltons, VA 24258.
