Join us and celebrate the 5th Annual Hilo Chocolate Festival!
Saturday, May 9th, Motherʻs Day Weekend at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, 71 Banyan Drive, Hilo, Hawaii Island. Festival begins at 9am and ends at 4pm.
What sets this chocolate festival apart from the rest?
This festival highlights our local cacao and chocolate industry of Hawaiʻi Island. All of the chocolate at this festival is grown locally on Hawaiʻi Island. No imported cacao, no cacao from neighbor islands. Just Hawaiʻi Island cacao! :)
Youʻll be able to meet and learn from chocolate makers, some of which may also be the farmer who grew their cacao trees from seed. These dynamics create a very rare experience in the world of chocolate, and itʻs all happening at the 5th Annual Hilo Chocolate Festival.
Taste the variety of chocolates from each maker, enjoy creative flavor combinations and delight in something new and different.
Make new friends, shop gifts for your loved ones (yourself included) and enjoy the benefits of cacao with our island community.
Plant a cacao tree to take home, learn about the process from growing cacao pods, harvesting cacao beans through to fermentation and drying, roasting and transforming cacao nibs into a delicious and shiny chocolate bar!
Be sure to bid on your favorite treasures at the silent auction table (located in the breezeway outside Moku Ola Ballroom), when you vote on your favorite chocolates, youʻll be entered to win the grand prize at the raffle.
Tag a friend below who would love this and invite your fellow chocolate lovers!
