- **Event Description**: Cheesemonger Austin Genke is co-founder of Boxcarr Handmade Cheese, founded in 2009, and is making all his delicious cheeses in Cedar Grove, 15 miles away from The Bar(n)! Join us on Thursday, February 26th for an evening of prosecco and perfectly paired wines and artisanal cheeses, as we host Laurence Vuelta of Sunrise Wines and Austin Genke of Boxcarr Handmade Cheese!
After being welcomed with a little prosecco, Austin will provide eight different delicious handmade cheeses, which Laurence will pair with tastings of four special wines. 

Each wine will be paired with two of the cheeses, and there will be crackers, baguettes, fruits, charcuterie, and preserves.

Sip, savor, and discover new favorites in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just love good food and great company, this tasting is not to be missed. Seating is limited to 40 guests.

At the conclusion of the event, you will have the opportunity to purchase any of the wines and cheeses you’ve tasted (as well as some other special cheeses from Boxcarr!) Wines will be priced at wholesale + 15%.

Laurence Vuelta is a Level I Sommelier, a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and a Certified Specialist of Spirits (CSS), the Director of Sales and Good Times for Sunrise Wines, and has been in the wine business for over 34 years.
