Local teens are invited to join the Eno River Association for a FREE four-session series focusing on the role of Piedmont prairie restoration in a changing climate. During these sessions, students will learn about the history and current status of Piedmont prairies, the benefits of these ecosystems, and how they can be reintroduced in the area.Directions and accessibility info: This session will take place at the Confluence Natural Area in Hillsborough. The address is 4214 Highland Farm Road, Hillsborough, NC 27278. We will meet under the pavilion located at the end of the gravel road and adjacent to the gravel parking lot (you can't miss it!). The majority of this program will take place under the pavilion, but we will likely also take a stroll around the preserve on natural or gravel terrain with slight elevation changes. There are two accessible parking spaces adjacent to the pavilion. Restrooms are available on site.
