Phil Rolleston grew up in the Atlanta folk music scene, moved to NYC in 1969 and played all the folk clubs (The Bitter End, Gaslight, Gerde’s Folk City, etc.) with a folk trio. The trio toured colleges in New England and the South before they went their separate ways. In 1970 as a lead singer in a band he performed at the Second Atlanta Pop Festival for 300,000 people, and recorded in Nashville. Returning to acoustic music, Phil played ski bars in Vermont, and restaurants in Richmond, Va. before moving to his WV home in Pocahontas County. 

Over the next 50 years, Phil has played at Snowshoe Resort and venues throughout Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Monroe and Summers Counties. His music is an eclectic mix of old school tunes ranging from Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and Carol King to more recent artists like Jason Isbell and Sarah Jarosz. Throughout his sets are also songs that friends of his have written, as well as some of his own. Phil is an accomplished vocal interpreter of music over a span of 60 years and his music is as vital now as it ever has been.
