Geologic Wonders of Oregon: Stories and Connections

Oregon has some of the most fascinating and beautiful geology in the United States.

This beautiful tapestry comes from interesting and often intertwined geologic histories that produced not only pastoral valleys and rolling hills, but also rugged gorges, coastlines, and volcanoes right in our own backyard.

This past also brought us some spectacular gems, minerals, and meteorites.

Geological Society of the Oregon Country (GSOC) President, Julian Gray, will take us on a survey of ten of Oregon’s most picturesque geologic wonders.
