- **Event Description**: Visit the Yew for the first time or the 50th time at our Friendsgiving Potluck and Open House on Sunday, November 16, from 2-6 PM. 

*Enjoy a roasted turkey donated by Donald Blake of Terrapin Farm and dishes contributed by all who wish to bring food to share.  We'll dig in around 3pm. 

*Got some tired little pumpkins and bad apples? Bring them to the produce launcher and teach them to fly. 

*We'll have our annual pond plunge with the 6-person sauna available before or after this chilling activity.  Bring a towel and swimsuit.

*Will Lewis and Adrienne Cedarleaf will each offer 45-minute tours of the land at 2:15 and 4:00. 

*Music makers are invited and encouraged to do their thing.  We'll have a campfire outside weather permitting and one in the stone fireplace in the great room. 

Some things to keep in mind...

This is a family friendly event!  Parents are responsible for supervising their children at all times. 

This isn't a pet-friendly event, however.  Please leave your fur family at home. 
 
This is a free community offering!  It is also the first event at the Yew since our launch of the "We Need Yew" comprehensive fundraising campaign. We are raising money to buy the land and continue serving the community with beloved programs and new opportunities.  Local ownership of the Yew is possible with local support!  Do you know someone who would love to protect this resource for generations to come?  Please extend our invitation to visit!
