Are you ready to push your limits and take on one of Durban’s wildest, toughest and most rewarding trails?
This is Giba Gorge at its absolute best – a full-force adventure packed with views, climbs, history and pure adrenaline.
🌊 EXPECT UP TO 7 WATERFALLS, THE CLIFTON FIRE LOOKOUT TOWER, CLIFTON CANYON, HIDDEN ROCK SHELTER (IF ACCESSIBLE), SKELETON TRAIL, CAFE UMFULA/GIBALAND,GIBA RUINS, AND SOME SERIOUS CLIMBS.

⏰ TIME: 5:45am for 6:00am
📍 MEETING POINT: Giba Gorge Nature Reserve (Winston Park / St Helier)
🥾 HIKE DETAILS:
18km of action — waterfalls (depending on access), Giba Ruins, Clifton Lookout Tower, Gibaland, hidden rock shelter, Skeleton Trail, Cascades, NU Driving Range, Clifton Canyon and Giba Gorge NR.
💸 COST: R349pp (includes private guiding, adventure-packed route, and professional photos/videos)
📊 GRADING:
• Regular Hiker: Grade 3
• Casual Hiker: Grade 4
⚠️ Not suitable for beginners.
