The Forest Hills Athletics community has always been about more than just running — it’s about standing together, especially when one of our own needs support.

One of our valued members, Theresa💚 is currently facing a challenging chapter in her health journey. She has been diagnosed with Cushingoids Syndrome, and while she has already shown incredible strength over the past year — successfully overcoming a previous tumour — she now needs to undergo a specialised PET scan to help doctors locate the source of the condition.
Unfortunately, her medical aid will not cover the cost of this scan, which comes to R33,000.

If you’ve seen her out on the road or at training, you’ll know exactly what kind of person she is — determined, resilient, and quietly inspiring. After everything she has faced, she has worked her way back to running strongly again, showing true grit every step of the way.

𝙉𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙚𝙧.

We are raising funds to help cover the cost of this crucial scan so she can continue her journey toward recovery and good health.
Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. We will be hosting a 🅜🅤🅢🅘🅒🅐🅛 🅑🅘🅝🅖🅞 to kick-start our fundraising.  All funds raised will go to her medical costs for the PET scan. Should you wish to make a further donation please contact
