Army Experience Day

The Royal Logistic Corps welcomes you to our Army Experience Day!

Join us on Thursday 30th Oct 2025 for a fun day out and to learn more about the exciting opportunites a job in the British Army could offer you, or someone you know.

Get ready to explore our military equipment and the vehicles you would learn to drive for free. Watch exciting capability demonstrations and then give things a go yourself! We have 16 different trades in the Royal Logistic Corps and our soldiers will be there to tell you more about their unique adventures and answer any questions your may have.

Hungry? We have you covered! Our very own Royal Logistic Corps Chefs will be there to provide everyone a free lunch and also give you an improvised cooking demonstration to show how how they prepares feasts in the field when there is no kitchen near by!

The atmosphere will be relaxed so you can get involved in as much, or as little, as you fancy. Mark your calendars and join us for this unique experience! We can't wait to see you there!

Info: Please arrive promptly within this window so that you have the best Army Experience Day. When you arrive, either by train or car, you will be met at the gate by one of our soldiers who will sign you in and direct you from there.

Info: We will kick the day off with some refreshments and short presentation to welcome you and explain what the Army Experience Day is all about.

Info: After your welcome brief you are invited to explore what the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) does and the adventure it can offer. There will be display stands and soldiers advertising all of the jobs and opportunities available in the RLC. Our soldiers are super friendly and knowledgeable and they will be on hand to show you around our vehicles and other activities.

Info: Lunch will be a BBQ (free of charge!) provided by our very own Royal Logistic Corps Chefs. Their skills go way beyond flipping burgers and they will provide an improvised cooking demonstration to showcase how feasts can be prepared when there is no kitchen nearby! Please let us know if you have any allergies or specific dietary requirements when you order your tickets.

Info: After lunch, you will be invited to watch some of our soldiers in action and then give it a go yourself!

Info: The event is schedules to finish at 15:00 hrs which is when our minibuses will offer a shuttle service to the train station. If you have an earlier train to catch or just need to leave before 1500 hrs, then you are, of course, free to do so. We kindly request that you notify a member of staff when you leave, so that we can account for all guests and make sure everyone leaves the event safely.
