- **Event Description**: Join us for an entertaining evening echoing the variety shows of the past. The program follows a pioneer family from Kentucky who join the wagon train from Pike County Missouri to travel 900 plus miles during the 1859 Colorado Gold Rush. Props, songs and stories impart insight into the Civil War, mining, railroads, Native American lore, the settlers, and three famous Colorado women!

Our presenter, Calvin Weatherall (aka The Hat Man), is a Canadian currently living near Olde Town Arvada. He brings his high-energy show to life with an array of instruments, props, humor, accents, heartfelt singing, stories, and…..hats! Audience participation is encouraged

Event is open to the public. Highlands Ranch Historical Society Members are free. $5 minimum donation for all others.
