In this hands-on program, kids will learn about local favorites like the monarch butterfly, eastern bumblebee, and ruby-throated hummingbird while crafting their own wearable wings. Through art, movement, and exploration, young learners will see how these important animals help Hudson Valley flowers and gardens thrive. Perfect for elementary-aged kids who love nature, creativity, and outdoor discovery.

All Walkway Connections events are free to attend and open to all.  This activity is geared toward elementary-aged children. Walkway Connections is supported in part by the Maurice D. Hinchey Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area and The M&T Charitable Foundation.
