Join us on Saturday 16th May from 3pm for an afternoon and evening of great food, drinks, music, and community spirit at our Stoke the Fire Family Festival.

We’re an independent, family-owned country pub, with parts of our building dating back to the 18th century. Alongside our fantastic team, we take pride in creating all of our dishes from scratch and supporting local producers, makers, and businesses wherever we can.

This day is all about celebrating that — bringing people together, supporting local, and enjoying the simple things… good food, good company, and a great atmosphere.

Here’s what we’ve got planned:

🍻 From 3pm – Kick things off
Family-friendly entertainment, local stalls, and a relaxed festival feel
Happy Hour from 3–5pm with £4 pints and £2 half pints
✨ A special surprise for the first 50 pints sold

🍺 From 3pm until late
Local ale & cider tastings running through the day and into the evening

🍴 Evening
A special menu running into the night

🎶 From 8pm
Live music to bring the evening to life

We’re also hoping to raise a little support towards getting our open fire back up and running in time for winter, after it was sadly damaged a few years ago. There will be a few things on the day to help towards this — but absolutely no pressure at all. Come along for the day, the locality, and time spent with friends and family… because those are the moments that really matter.
