We will meet on site at 10.15am and finish at approximately 3.30pm. We will meet on Herbert Road Service Road, by the 5 bar vehicle gate next to Ash Hill Primary School. Free parking is available on Herbert Road. The nearest postcode is: HP13 7HW. Please park considerately.Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.You don't need to print off your Eventbrite ticket!The Task:Join us at this amazing woodland in High Wycombe to learn about coppicing and the benefits it brings to nature. Take away pea sticks for your garden or allotment and save the planet too - no more bamboo from China required!!Timings (please note these timings are approximate):10.00: Arrival for safety briefing, please don't be late!11.30: Tea & coffee break13.00: Lunch time, please bring your own15.30: Work finishes, time to go home, thanks so much for your help!What to Bring:Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. If it's sunny you may need a hat and suncream.Please bring a plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.Please note:Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions.
