As you rest comfortably, you'll be immersed in soothing sounds and vibrations designed to help release tension, quiet the mind, and encourage deep relaxation.My intention is that you leave feeling calm, restored, and rebalanced, ready to move through the week ahead with greater ease and clarity.Taking place in the beautiful Reading Room at the Old Library Building in High Wycombe, we'll begin with gentle breathwork and intention setting before settling into the sound bath. As you relax with your eyes closed, I'll play a variety of instruments known for their rich resonant tones and therapeutic vibrations, alongside vocal sounds. You're invited simply to rest, receive, and allow the sounds to guide you wherever you need to go.Date & TimeSunday 15 NovemberDoors open 3:50pmI would be grateful if you would arrive around 3:50/3:55pm so we can get started promptly. The entrance is via Djangos cafe, which is at the side of the Patch building. I want you to feel comfy and cosy. Layers are a good idea as you’ll be lying down on your mat for a lot of the session and you might feel chilly.What to bring· a yoga mat or similar to lie on· a blanket· an eye mask if you like to use one· a pillow or cushion for your head, and perhaps also a cushion for under your legsAnything you might like to have with you to make you as comfortable as possible! No such thing as too many blankets!You might also want to bring a journal and a pen in case anything comes up for you which you want to note down.ContraindicationsAs a general rule, sound healing in a group context is very safe, as instruments are usually played off the body. The one main exception is for people with sound induced epilepsy (which is very rare), and for people experiencing acute mental health conditions.Additionally, during the first trimester (12 weeks) of pregnancy we also advise caution for working with healing sounds.The benefits of a Sound Spa· Feeling relaxed and rejuvenated· Increased focus and feeling present· Reduced stress and a better ability to cope with stressful situations· Improvement in quality of sleep· Enhanced creativity and problem-solving· Breaking up of emotional blockagesRefundsNo refunds will be issued within 7 days of the event unless I am able to refill your space.
