Patch High Wycombe
Queen Victoria Road, High Wycombe, United Kingdom
Welcome!
This sound bath will be a gentle space to relax, unwind, and connect through soothing sounds and shared stillness.
Come as you are and experience a moment of calm together.
Taking place in the lovely Reading room at Patch, the former library, we will start the session with some gentle breathwork, intention setting, and then while you both lie down comfortably, I will play various instruments around you known for their vibratory healing frequencies, as well as using my voice. You are free to relax and drift off where the sound takes you.
This session is only for parents and carers with their young people aged 11+. We will be lieing down for approximately 45 minutes to be bathed in sound, so please consider if that works for your young person. Curious young people very welcome.

Saturday 21 March @ 15:30 - 16:30
Doors open 15:20
Unfortunately I won’t be able to let you in once the session has started at 15:30 if you happen to run late.
Location
The Reading Room at Patch, The Old Library, Queen Victoria Rd, High Wycombe HP11 1BG
Patch is located in the heart of High Wycombe, in the old Library building, next door to the Guildhall. It is a five minute walk from High Wycombe Railway Station and high street, and a few minutes by car from the M40.

What to wear
Your comfiest clothes! I want you to feel comfy and cosy. Layers are a good idea as you’ll be lying down on your mat for a lot of the session and you might feel chilly
What to bring
· a yoga mat or similar to lie on
· a blanket or duvet
· an eye mask if you like to use one
· a pillow or cushion for your head, and perhaps also a cushion for under your legs
Anything you might like to have with you to make you as comfortable as possible! No such thing as too many blankets!
Contraindications
As a general rule, sound healing in a group context is very safe, as instruments are usually played off the body. The one main exception is for people with sound induced epilepsy (which is very rare), and for people experiencing acute mental health conditions.
Additionally, during the first trimester (12 weeks) of pregnancy we also advise caution for working with healing sounds.
