We will meet you at the entrance to Deangarden Woods, the W3W are: https://what3words.com/spit.fame.secretPlease can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.You don't need to print off your Eventbrite ticket!The Task:Lots to do today and plenty of tasks for all ages and abilities! We will be cutting, coppicing, raking, building log piles, dead hedging, building bird boxes and litter picking. Come and join us, even an hour of your time makes a world of difference.Timings (please note these timings are approximate):10.00: Arrival for safety briefing, please don't be late!10.15: Work begins12.00: Tea & coffee break15.30: Work finishes, time to go home! Thank you!What to bring:Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain.Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.Access: Deangarden Woods is on a steep slope and may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.Please note:Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions.
