Join us for a free Thanksgiving Grocery Distribution. Tuesday November 18th at 3pm.
We will be paying for a truck delivery from Bread of the Mighty Food Bank, as well as providing a large variety of items straight from the grocery store that we’ll be purchasing for families.
Our goal is to have food to distribute to at least 300 families for Thanksgiving, as well as provide healthy food & snack options for families with children, that will assist them the week that school is out for the Thanksgiving Holiday Break.
We are not promising anyone anything, because we get different amounts of different items, but we will have fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, holiday boxes, breads & desserts, meats, canned goods, dry goods, dairy, breakfast, lunch & dinner items, as well as a limited amount of turkeys. 🦃
Location will be the Deeper Purpose Community Complex (our vacant church property) out on 441 that sits right across from the Oak Ridge Subdivision in High Springs. 16779 NW US HWY 441 High Springs, FL 32643. If coming from Gainesville/ ALACHUA it’ll be on your right. If coming from High Springs on 441, it’ll be on your left.
If coming from High Springs, if you get to the area of Jack’s Small Engine, you’ve gone too far. If coming from Gainesville/ Alachua, if you get to the area of the new Palms Medical Group, you’ve gone too far. We are between the new Palms Medical Group & Jack’s Small Engine on 441. It’ll be a 14 acre large field.
🔺Volunteers are needed & welcomed starting at 1:30pm or one hour before the distribution starts. Many hands make light work. 😊
