In this competition-style event, we invite a prominent National judge to examine our students for their level passing and provide additional feedback for our studio - including instructors! Students will participate in rounds of dances by style (Rhythm, Smooth, and Nightclub) and show off what they've learned this year. Join us as a spectator to cheer on our brand-new students in what for many is their first time on a performance floor! Lunch is provided at the conclusion of the event.
SPECIAL GUEST JUDGE SERGEI TRYL
Sergei Tryl is an accomplished professional dancer, choreographer,
and instructor with a rich international career spanning over two
decades. Originally from Ukraine, Sergei began dancing at the age of
7 and quickly rose through the competitive ranks. He became a
Ukrainian National Champion in both International Ballroom and
Latin styles , as well as a Ukrainian Formation Champion and later
a Formation World Champion in Mannheim.
Sergei holds a degree in dance and education from a Ukrainian
pedagogical university. In 2010, he relocated to the United States to
further pursue his professional dance career. His list of accolades
includes:
● Fred Astaire International Latin National Champion
● Fred Astaire Smooth Closed Division National Champion
● Ohio Star Ball – 3rd Place
● Manhattan Dance Championship – 3rd Place
● Heritage Ballroom Dancesport Championship – 2nd Place
● Winner of Professional Divisions – NY/NJ Regionals
Known for his powerful presence, refined technique, and expressive
style, Sergei brings a wealth of experience to both the stage and the
studio. He now shares his passion with the next generation of
dancers, coaching competitive and social students alike to reach their
full potential.
