Students will continue learning to throw on the wheel to make functional pots, plates, bowls, cups, and mugs. Additionally, hand-building techniques will be introduced to enhance thrown pieces, like adding handles to mugs and colanders or decorative elements to cups and plates.

Students are encouraged to bring their clay tools, a 2 1/2 qt. bucket, hand towel, and small sponge. Aprons are provided, but feel free to bring your own or just wear old clothes. Each participant will get a 25-lb. bag of clay, the opportunity to glaze-fire pieces, and access to the open studio. Space is limited!
