Celebrate the Fall Season and Halloween with all of us at Haddam Killingworth Youth and Family Services!

The Pumpkin Run Course has been slightly modified due to construction, but the tradition of this long-standing race is strong and thriving!   Location is the same!

This is the 33rd year of the HKYFS Pumpkin Run, a beloved annual tradition benefitting Haddam-Killingworth Youth and Family Services.   Your participation directly supports our programs for youth and families in the areas of counseling, substance abuse prevention, positive youth development, family programming, juvenile restorative justice, and social services. The money raised through the Pumpkin Run sponsorships and runner registrations is an essential and meaningful way to support the Haddam-Killingworth community and contribute to direct services, programs, and activities for our youth and families. HKYFS envisions a connected community where youth and families are resilient and feel safe, supported, and empowered

The Pumpkin Run is our largest fundraising event and truly demonstrates coming together as a community to create positive change.  A few years ago, we enhanced the race to include a variety of Family Activities designed to connect community,  engage kids, and just have a lot of fun!

This fun event features a fast road race with a 5K run, 2 mile walk, as well as a fun run for our kids!   Halloween is right around the corner and costumes are encouraged with prizes! Community vendors and fun activities are on site to add to the festivities!

Race Highlights:

·   Warm breakfast goodies to purchase on site

.   Free T-Shirt to the first 300 to register or by 10/13

·  Custom Medals for all Finishers

·  Costume Contest: Prizes for the Best Adult, Youth, and Dog Costume!  All dogs must be friendly and remain on leashes.

· Family games, crafts, activities, and more!  

·         DJ Gil from the Music Score for a great vibe!
