Patrick Beaver Learning Resource Center is hosting our bi-annual Reading Tutor Training, February 2–6, 2026, and we are inviting caring community members to join us in making a lasting difference in a child’s life.
Through this in-person, full-day training, you will learn research-based, proven methods for supporting struggling readers. After completing the training, tutors are paired with one student and provide 60 free one-on-one lessons over the course of a school year, helping a child grow in skill, confidence, and love of reading.
