Poetry Hickory featuring Catherine Carter

Catherine Carter is the author of two chapbooks of poetry and four full-length collections, including her latest, "By Stone and Needle," winner of the LE Phillibaum Poetry Award. She is a professor at Western Carolina University and served many years as a mentor in the Gilbert-Chappell Distinguished Poet Series. She claims that on a good day, she can re-queen a hive of honeybees and roll a whitewater kayak, and on less-good days, she collects stings, rock-rash, and multiple contusions.
