$8000 AVP Next Tournament
Two day event: you must be available to play both days in order to participate in this event.
Day one will most likely be all rounds of play (winners bracket and losers bracket) up to the pre-quarters rounds.
Day two will most likely be the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals.
One of our goals is to get 33 teams registered (per gender) in order to achieve the highest points level for this tournament (110% of normal AVP points awarded). This facility has 20 courts, so we can easily handle high numbers of teams.
Tournament will be double elimination match play, seeded by AVP Points, and player reffed.

$4000 payout per gender:
-1st = $1400
-2nd = $1000
-3rd = $500
-5th = $300

Normal 2's rules apply:
-short court
-hand sets must be clean
-block counts as a touch
-no tipping
-no hand passing the first ball unless it is hard-driven, unless it comes out perfect
-you may set over only if you are square to where you set it
