This retreat at Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha) with facilitator Leslie Schwarting is an invitation to step away from the noise and return to the rhythm of care—care for yourself, your inner life, and the path you're walking. Like the slow unfolding of an orchid bloom, this experience is designed to help you reconnect with your natural pace, your purpose, and your own quiet wisdom.
Together, we’ll create space for rest, reflection, and reconnection. Through guided practices, meaningful conversation, body movement and intentional stillness, you’ll begin to nurture the life within you that’s been waiting for light.

We invite you to choose the retreat length that works best for your schedule. The cost of the full weekend retreat is $255 and includes sessions, lodging and all meals. The full weekend commuter fee is $195 and includes sessions and Saturday lunch and dinner. The cost for Friday to Saturday at 6pm is $225 and includes sessions, Friday night lodging and all Saturday meals. The Friday to Saturday at 6pm commuter fee is $175 and includes sessions and Saturday lunch and dinner. For Friday to Saturday options please call 319-395-6700 to register.
A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required at registration. (Full payment is required to register online. If you prefer to pay the $25 registration fee now and the balance when you arrive, please call 319-395-6700.) If you want to stay in a Hermitage, you also will need to register by phone. If you have dietary restrictions that affect your health, please list them on the next screen. If you have missed the registration deadline or the retreat is sold out, please call to be added to the wait list.
