Awaken Your Creativity through Watercolor

Join a hands-on, beginner's painting workshop that includes a tracing sheet, step-by-step instructions and an example to reference as we paint, making them perfect for beginners. This class, hosted at Prairiewoods (120 East Boyson Road in Hiawatha), starts with a few watercolor exercises and a demonstration of the project. Then we will be invited to work at our own pace.

This class, led by artist Barb Thompson, is recommended for ages 8–100. Simply bring a positive attitude, ready to learn a new skill! In March, we will paint daffodils!

The cost of this hands-on workshop is $50 and includes all art supplies (a watercolor palette, brush, coldpress 140-pound watercolor paper, Nicholson’s Peerless Transparent Watercolors sample pack, backing board and transparent sleeve to take finished work home).
