Spin your weekend into something special with our Weekend Wheel ceramics workshop! Perfect for beginners and hobbyists alike, this hands-on session invites you to explore the potter’s wheel in a relaxed, creative studio setting. Learn the basics of wheel throwing, shape your own ceramic pieces, and get a little muddy while making something uniquely yours. Come solo or bring a friend—it’s the perfect way to unwind, create, and connect.
Weekend Wheel is your invitation to slow down, get messy, and tap into the joy of making with clay. Guided by the rhythm of the wheel and a glass of good wine (BYO), you'll shape, sculpt, and spin your way through an evening of earthy fun. Whether you're a curious beginner or just in it for the good times, this is hands-on art with a side of laughter, music, and community.
You get:
• A session of wheel-throwing with an experienced ceramics artist
• Materials to make a few small homewares such as bowls, cups, plates- will be glazed, fired and ready for pick up at a later date
• Fun, nibbles and your favourite bubbly
What to bring:
• Warm clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
• Apron
• BYO alcohol
