Belyssa, one of the pioneers of Australian bellydance, journeyed from New York to Perth, creating the Belyssa Academy of Danse Orientale, her Flames of Araby Belly Dance Troupe becoming Desert Fire - Fantasie Arabique. She continues to inspire generations of new and developing dancers with her extensive cultural knowledge, innovative teaching techniques and creative artistry.
Belyssa captivates her audiences and brings a dramatic flair to the
stage, as well as her fun workshops which will challenge and extend
you as a dancer. As always, Belyssa invites students, and professionals
to bring their curiosity, questions and enthusiasm into her workshops.
