Runners are being given an out of this world opportunity to run and race under the darkest night skies in Europe. The 'Dark Skies Run' at Kielder Water & Forest Park, Northumberland, will take place over the weekend from Saturday 6th March through to Sunday 7th March 2027.

Kielder was awarded gold tier Dark Sky Park status by the International Dark Skies association in December 2013, making it the perfect venue for the ultimate starlit running challenge.

The 26.6 and 11 mile events take place on Saturday 6th March, and the 10K event takes place on Sunday 7th March 2027.  

All events come with a bespoke medal and a race memento.
