The Shaft Of Wit Dirty Dozen is a rapid-fire comedy clash where twelve acts deliver five-minute sets, battling for laughs and audience votes. Winners grab cash and a Grand Final spot. It’s raw, raucous, and relentlessly funny—Norfolk’s fiercest proving ground for punchlines and personality.
Now approaching it's 7th year, the Dirty Dozen competition has become one of the most popular events among Shaft Of Wit Comedy audiences. It attracts acts of all levels, from veteran profesional entertainers to fresh out the box new acts.
Here's how it works:
💥12 comedians perform in a show of three sections
💥Each gets 5 mins to notch up the most laughs
💥You put the name of your favourite act in a hat at the end of each section
💥The winners from each section get a one minute quick fire slot each and the overall winner is decided by a clap off.
So grab your opportunity to experience 12 acts, and you be the judge about who goes through to the January final showcasing the winners from heats performed around Norfolk.
