Stringfoot Thursday

Hesperia Lake Bird Rescue will be hosting Stringfoot Thursday. This is a free event every Thursday at Hesperia Lake. We meet in front of the store at 11:30 am, and will be at the lake for approx. 2-3 hours. You can show up on any given Thursday and are not obligated to stay the whole time.

This event is open to the public. You can come with friends, and make new friends connecting with like minded people with a mission to help the birds and lake. (Please no dogs at this event. Our focus is on helping the birds and most of the birds are scared of dogs even if leashed.)

We will be walking the lake picking up fishing line, apparatus and trash. Checking out the birds and unstringing. You can go at your own pace for whatever is comfortable.

We will have the supplies on hand to unstring. Please bring large old bath towels and smaller towels. You are welcome to bring a drink for yourself. Optional snack for yourself, or to share. See you there, and thank you for helping the birds!
