Going far back, to our great grandmother language of Sanskrit, the state or process of healing can be translated as 'in flowing wholeness' (ref. Lucy Crisfield). In other words, to remain whole whilst moving through and adapting to what life brings. Wellbeing, then, is not a fixed state - it is in a constant flow, a journey that is part of the challenge and call of being in a body on this Earth. This journey has many ups and downs, twists and turns, and is often not what we expect. This is what we will be exploring on this day retreat. We will look at this challenge and share what this means. Furthermore, we will learn and experience what a great help sound healing practices can be for us on this journey.
