For those familiar with camping, or if you are looking to build upon skills learnt in our Bushcraft & Survival weekend, our Advanced Bushcraft course will give you the chance to go beyond the basics of fire, water and shelter, learning new skills in a relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful private woodland.
We will build advanced natural shelters, which you can sleep in of you wish, make a raised bed with a self-feeding fire, and this will include sourcing the timber we need, covering Axe and Knife work/safety and felling small trees.
Fire-lighting will be revisited, and a concentrated input into honing your friction fire lighting (bow drill) skills and, once we have flame, looking at various cook fires and outdoor cooking methods.
Submerge yourself in nature to reconnect with your natural surroundings learning about animal tracks and signs, natural navigation techniques, wild foods, tree types and their uses.
As with all our courses, our camp is focused around covered area and communal fire with kettle. We also have a composting toilet on-site for your comfort.
Starting from 7pm Friday to 4.00pm Sunday and led by qualified NCFE Level 4 Bushcraft Leader Graham Couling.
£240 per person.
