Organ recital featuring Tyler Canonico


Tyler Canonico will be featured in a free recital at First United Methodist Church, 64 West Chocolate Avenue, Hershey on Wednesday, July 29 at 7pm.

He will perform works of J.S. Bach, Dudley Buck, Keith Hampton, Max Reger, Louis Vierne, and more. The program will explore the colors of the recently completed Létourneau organ.

One of the east coast’s finest young concert organists and inspiring church musicians, Tyler A. Canonico is a graduate student studying Organ Performance at the University of Alabama with Dr. Faythe Freese. He is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Organ Performance and Sacred Music. He studied organ and piano with Dr. Shelly Moorman-Stahlman and orchestral conducting with Dr. Johannes Dietrich. Tyler has also studied organ with Dr. Jason Kissel, and piano and organ with Ms. Kathie Metz.
First UMC is accessible to everyone and welcomes all to this free program.
