Course aims and objectives
To instruct staff on the establishment and operation of a multi-agency Welfare Centre.
On completion of this course attendees will have gained an understanding and knowledge of the following:
1. Multi-agency Roles and Responsibilities
2. Humanitarian Welfare Requirements
3. Social and Psychological Issues
4. KRF Survivor/Evacuee Documentation
Local Authorities, Health Partners, Emergency Services, Voluntary Sector, Cat 2 Responders and Emergency Services Staff with a potential role in the establishment and running of multi-agency Welfare Centres. Please note that attendees will need to consider a refresher course after three years.
